Starting from Ronkonkoma Station, the route travels east over mostly flat terrain though pine barrens towards the Big Duck, Long Island’s most famous zoomorphic ferrocement building. The route then turns westward toward Ronkonkoma on steadily rolling terrain along the North Shore of Long Island. The last 25 miles can be challenging, so save some energy for the finish. The Big Duck Hunt 110k and Ronkonkoma 200k will run simultaneously.
